Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your Maintenance expertise, in a cutting-edge new field. You’ll report to the Project Manager, and work alongside collaborative and dedicated teammates. We have several new opportunities available for a Maintenance Technicians to join our team responsible for the maintenance of the C-Series trains, based at our facility in Nowergup, Western Australia. In these positions, you will be working on permanent night shift from 6pm – 6am across a 14 day roster. We’ll look to you for:

  • Performing preventive, corrective, and fault-finding maintenance activities to ensure safe and reliable fleet operations.
  • Following work instructions, procedures, and quality standards while delivering work to required specifications and timeframes.
  • Recording maintenance activities, defects, and work progress accurately using relevant maintenance management systems.
  • Supporting troubleshooting, diagnostics, and breakdown response activities as required.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, workplace organisation, and 5S housekeeping standards.
  • Participating in ongoing training and multi-skilling opportunities to support operational flexibility.
  • Operating depot equipment and vehicles, including trainsets within depot limits (training provided), and other plant where appropriately licensed.
  • Maintaining compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements while promoting a Zero Harm and Zero Defect culture.

  • The ability to thrive within a face-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, fault-find and diagnose on Electrical and/or Mechanical systems.
  • The ability to participate in a permanent night-shift roster.
  • Be willing and able to complete a CAT1 Rail Medical and drive/shunt rail vehicles around the depot.
  • Working rights in Australia.
  • WA A Grade Electrical Licence or Certificate III Engineering – Mechanical Trade (or equivalent Australian Qual)
