Take on a new challenge and apply your procurement and social responsibility expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, innovative, and forward-thinking team members. You'll play a key role in driving Alstom's social procurement strategy, ensuring compliance with our contractual requirements, and maximising social value across our operations. Working closely with project teams, procurement, and external partners, you'll help embed social procurement into project delivery while building strong relationships with diverse suppliers and community organisations.
We’ll look to you for:

- Building and growing a diverse supplier network, including social enterprises, Indigenous businesses, and community organisations.
- Partnering with project teams and stakeholders to embed social procurement practices into project planning, sourcing, and delivery activities.
- Monitoring, analysing, and reporting on social procurement performance, providing accurate insights and recommendations to drive outcomes.
- Driving continuous improvement and capability building by enhancing social procurement processes, tools, and organisational awareness across the business.
- Contribute to project outcomes by ensuring workforce and R&D commitments are effectively supported and achieved.
All about you
We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
- Degree in Social Impact or a related field.
- Knowledge of social procurement frameworks and community engagement best practice.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, community organisations, social enterprises and diverse suppliers.
This is an opportunity to make a tangible difference by influencing how procurement can create lasting social impact. You'll help shape supplier diversity initiatives, strengthen community connections, and contribute to projects that leave a positive legacy while supporting Alstom's sustainability ambitions.
