Reporting to the Test and Commissioning Manager we are currently recruiting for a FRACAS Engineer. The FRACAS Engineer will work on the Rail Network Alliance project. This role will be based in Melbourne on a Permanent, full time basis.
In this role you will:
- Collect reports, logs and data from ongoing or finished test to create a database for further analysis.
- Identify Root Cause of failure on various reported failures within systems.
- Manage a FRACAS tool that can interface with the maintenance management tool, and work on PowerBI to issue FRACAS reports
- Drive and support reliability improvements together with the other stakeholders such as RAM, Quality, Manufacturing and Procurement.
- Maintain FRACAS database, monitor investigation status, track open FRACAS investigations, and generate reports for project and customers.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
- Training in RAM or FTA analysis
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience using Power BI
