Alstom is looking for ALX (Active Level Crossing) Integration Engineer with railway experience to involve in the signalling upgrading based at Perth, WA.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Be responsible and accountable for the design coordination between the client, Operator and Alstom on the interface design between signalling system and modified existing ALX systems.
- To develop, implement and lead the system integration activities related to modified existing ALX systems work with new Signalling System (RMS).
- Responsible for the interface and integration work between RMS, ALX systems work, which include:
- Information exchange of input drawings, specifications, operational rules, manual, existing hazards etc.
- Interface point definition (incl. IHA, HAZOP, update on the existing hazards, with support from SA team.)
- Feasibility Studies on the modified existing ALX systems.
- Interface Requirement Definition
- Review the System Architecture Diagram (SAD)
- Review the Interface Design between Systems (Conceptual & Detailed Design)
- Lead the coordination work of the between RMS, modified ALX.
Minimum Requirements:
- Relevant Qualification in electrical/electronics/mechanical.
- Demonstrated experience of ALX system design experience with railway knowledge.
- Knowledgeable in signalling interlocking and ALX operational hazards.
