Position on offer:
As a Bio Wash Operator you are responsible for cleaning a variety of V/Line passenger vehicles to a high standard, in order to maximise our service, reliability, operational and availability requirements.
Multiple positions on offer across Day Shift (6am – 5pm) and Afternoon Shift (12pm- 11pm) on a rotational roster, including weekends.
- Using equipment to clean vehicles affected by animal strikes
- Interior/exterior cleaning and responsible for general housekeeping of work environment;
- Steam cleaning carpet and upholstery;
- Window cleaning;
- Emptying rubbish bins; and
- Cleaning of onboard facilities.
To be successful for this role you must be able to demonstrate:
- Previous experience within a similar role
- Ability to handle cleaning equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to complete work to a high quality standard;
- Able to follow instructions and be prepared to undertake other duties if and when required;
- Able to work according to the roster arrangements, which includes weekend and public holiday work when required;
- Able to undertake a variety of activities that may involve a degree of physical labour;
- Willing to undertake further training to achieve additional qualifications if required.
