We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic bids and tenders expert to join the Alstom team in the role of Tender Leader.
This role takes responsibility for leading and managing the tender from release through to transfer meeting once secured, this includes strategy definition, tender preparation, approval process and successful negotiation with the customer.
Based in Perth, WA, this role is to support the Perth HCS Contract. The role would require strategy definition, tender preparation, approval processes and negotiations.
Key Responsibilities
- Being the primary contact with the customer and highlighting Alstom solutions against customer requirements and identifying any implications or potential alternative solutions.
- Organise the tender by defining the bid strategy and split of work in cooperation with Alstom Platforms and define partner agreements in coordination with the legal team.
- Present the tender in all review meetings and manage the overall tender budget.
- Lead the tender preparation activities with a focus on customer evaluation criteria.
- Manage the proposal preparation and define the key messages.
- Proposal delivery, negotiation and transfer meetings to the Project Manager
About You
- Strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
- Significant experience in the rail industry.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
- Demonstrated ability in leading teams to meet tight delivery schedules.
- Ability to develop a high success rate in managing complex tenders.
