We have a rare opportunity available to join a supportive and high-performing Quality team, as a Graduate Quality Engineer with an immediate start. This position will be a 24 month contract initially, with potential for extension and to become permanent. You will be based in Perth, but may be required to travel to project sites ocassionally. Your key responsibilities will include;
- Organising meetings with relevant stake holders, record MOM for Gate reviews/ safety reviews/ design reviews from a Quality perspective and close relevant actions.
- Follow up any QA Documentation from NCR ( Non conformance) and support any Corrective action and preventative action plan from suppliers and contractors.
- Co-ordinate and set up meetings with different departments, manufacturing units and suppliers to follow up and obtain manufacturing records and related evidence for quality/ gate reviews and safety reviews.
- Develop QA/QC document structure for gate reviews in Sharepoint and help with reporting of gate reviews.
- Follow up closure of any audit actions with suppliers and contractors.
- Document management and maintain records for reviews as per ITP.
- Support and format documentation for checklists/ reports etc.
- Perform any applicable Document review including MDR and Commissioning records as per ITP or completion process.
- Participate in any weekly customer and project meetings as applicable.
- Compile data and report Quality monthly reporting as requested by the Quality manager.
- Collate improvement data /NCR data and help support continuous improvement in conjunction with the Quality Engineer/ Quality Manager.
- Complete Data input into various Quality tools as part of compliance activities and follow up closure
To be successful for the role, you will have;
- The ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stake holders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- An understanding of Supplier / material/ product or process inspection/ audits.
- An engineering degree - Ideally Mechanical / Electrical similar preferably with some Systems engineering experience/ Knowledge
