The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team and partner with our Managers to find the best talent for rail projects right across Australia. You will be working across two national and diverse portfolios, our Services/Maintenance business and General Support Functions for Alstom Australia. Ideally you will be based in Sydney or Melbourne, however we are open to considering other locations. In this role, you will own the recruitment process from requisition approval to candidate onboarding, ensuring an excellent candidate and manager experience. key responsibilities include:
- Working with the business to educate hiring managers on recruitment best practice.
- Developing and nurturing relationships with hiring managers to support them through the hiring process and become a trusted advisor.
- Developing recruitment strategies using various sourcing techniques aligned to the requirements of each role.
- Managing the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition approval through to on-boarding.
- Building talent pipelines for key roles.
- Partnering with your stakeholders on employer branding initiatives, promoting Alstom as an employer of choice and leader in the transport engineering industry.

About You
We are seeking a motivated and proactive individual who is passionate about providing exceptional service to our Managers and Candidates. You will also have;
- A positive attitude and be a real collaborative team player.
- The ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent attention to detail and be process focused.
- The ability to travel to local sites and interstate occasionally.
- Recruitment/Talent Acquisition experience (agency or in-house).
- Solid IT and System skills (Taleo, Success Factors, PageUp or similar).
