The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic IS&T Business Partner to join our team and partner with our businesses and IS&T Teams to provide best practice IS&T support for Alstom throughout Australia.
Alstom has modern cloud based IS&T systems and is undergoing a Digital Transformation to provide efficient, secure tools in collaborative environments for all employees. You will be initially working in the Services business but have the opportunity to work in Rolling Stock, Signalling and General Support Functions for Alstom Australia. Ideally you will be based in Melbourne, however we are open to considering other locations.
In this role, you will lead the IS&T Business partnering role for Alstom Australia Services and cover applications, infrastructure and compliance. Key responsibilities include:
- understand the Services business’ roadmap and align it with the IS&T roadmap
- lead regular IS&T and business meetings
- collaborate with IS&T Teams in Europe and India to ensure solutions are Alstom IS&T compatible
- oversee or lead applications or infrastructure projects
- participate in tenders, budgets
- oversee crisis management and communication during P1/P2 situations
- assist IS&T Operations as needed
- timely communication and change management of IS&T topics to the business
- lead or participate in continuous improvement
- ensure IS&T internal controls standards are met and manage audits

About You
We are seeking a motivated and proactive individual who is passionate about providing exceptional service to our Manager and Candidates. You will also have;
- A positive attitude and be a real collaborative team player
- The ability to work autonomously
- The ability to travel to local sites and interstate
- The ability to work after hours when collaborating with India and Europe Teams
- Significant experience in a similar role
- Tertiary qualifications in IT
- Experience in a similar industry and matrix organisation preferred, but not essential
