The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Engineer to join us as our Maintenance Engineering Manager on one of our projects in the Western Suburbs of Sydney.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Collaborates with Services Engineering, Platforms and Participating Units to improve the Services portfolio of products and services.
- L1 Troubleshooting & L2 + L3 Repairs with Alstom's AGATE 2 Traction, TCMS and Auxiliary Systems.
- Supports cost reduction actions, with sourcing and industrial.
- Detects, defines and implements the modifications of the maintained products to improve the reliability and serviceability, in order to reduce project costs and improve the performances of the systems.
- Analyses the technical performances of the systems and the efficiency of the maintenance plan and processes, promoting action plans to improve them.
- Searches for improvement actions in maintenance operations, performing engineering interface activities with Operations Engineers (depot support).
- Promotes the use of latest maintenance technics and R&D developments (CBM, RCM, Lean).
- Analyses failure criticality studies and uses RCM (Reliability Centred Maintenance) and other available methodologies to define and optimise the maintenance requirements, tasks and intervals.

About You
We are seeking a motivated and proactive individual who is passionate about engineering and problem solving. You will also have;
- Relevant experience in Railways system/Application engineering
- Knowledge of Alstom's AGATE 2 family of products
- Knowledge of rolling stock maintenance
