The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic recently graduated IS&T Support Analyst to join our Australia IS&T team. Alstom has modern cloud based IS&T systems and is undergoing a Digital Transformation to provide efficient, secure tools in collaborative environments for all employees.
You will be mainly working on IT infrastructure for Alstom’s 45 sites. While you will not perform the technical work on configuring devices, you will need understand their functions to support technical teams in implementation and maintenance. Ideally, you will be based in Sydney. However, we are open to considering other locations. You will also initially be engaged on a 12 month fixed term contract, however there is potential to extend become permanent.
Key Responsibilities
- Support IS&T Projects and Operations (including WAN, LAN, WiFi, LDRs, etc)
- Coordinate business IT issues to ensure these are addressed in a timely manner by the Alstom IT Support Teams per SLAs and per business needs
- Monitor actions assigned to Alstom IT Support Teams and escalate as needed
- Support P1 and P2 Priority Incidents as needed
- Organize troubleshooting between technical teams and business
- Liaise with business site assistants on IS&T requirements
- Generate monthly operations reports with analysis
- Support asset management process (including PCs, printers, mobile phones, 4G routers)
- Manage or assist in deployment (including testing) of ERP application hardware
- Develop and maintain accurate and detailed IT documentation (including IT site operations documents) and procedures
- Communicate and train users on the Alstom IS&T model and procedures
