Could you be the Senior Signalling Engineer based in our Melbourne office that we’re looking for?
Your future role:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading the design phase including circuit design, architecture drawings, control tables, interlocking principles and application data working across multiple complex Signalling projects.
We’ll look to you for:
- Undertake signalling design and verification activities
- Undertake independent checking / testing of signalling designs
- Liaise with the other discipline leaders to receive functional support and guidance on all aspects of design packages you are responsible for
- Collaborate with the System Design team, Data Preparation team, Verification and Validation team and the Project Manager
- Participate in site testing and commissioning activities
All about you:
- Tertiary degree in Software, Electrical or Automation Engineering
- Demonstrated experience in Signalling Principles at a Checker/Verifier level
- Proven background in the delivery of complex signalling design and multidisciplinary projects
- Extensive knowledge of Australian and/or UK conventional signalling design and interlocking principles, standards, components, and fabrication methods
- SME in relay interlocking and computer-based interlocking
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
