As a result of an internal promotion, an opportunity for an SAP Key User - Procurement, based in Ballarat has become available.
As our team grows and develops, so too do the opportunities and as we move into an exciting delivery phase of our project, the need for strong operational knowledge of SAP is going to be a critical part of our team. This role is fixed term for 2 years, but that is unlikely to be the end of your time with us!
As part of our Supply Chain team with a range of experts and willing colleagues at your fingertips, this role will support the sourcing process and be required to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders across the supply chain, industrial and buying teams to ensure the seamless flow of products to achieve success.
The SAP Key User will;

Understand and apply knowledge of SAP, the sourcing process, procurement, payment and contract terms to ensure accuracy in information in the system and timelines or quantity issues identified and mitigated proactively
- Appreciate and work to strengthen internal networks and relationships, creating open and transparent communication
- Be willing to support colleagues in the use of SAP, sharing and developing best practices

Possess strong knowledge of the procurement process and an ability to work closely on potential risks or issues to alleviate and escalate as needed
It’s not often we feel like we ‘tick every box’ and we don’t ask you to! We would love to see some experience similar to the below;

Knowledge of the procurement/sourcing process in a relatively large organisation

Strong knowledge of SAP

Some understanding or exposure to payment or contract terms
-
An eye for detail – accuracy and diligence when using data and can find your way around general IT programs such as Excel
