Could you be the full-time Industrial Strategic Planning & Ops Footprint Governance Manager in Dandenong we’re looking for?
Industrial strategy & footprint development
- Contribute in the preparation and execution of the S&OPS cycles
- Develop and execute the operations footprint strategy to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness across multiple locations.
- Analyze and consolidate the 3 years plan strategy for RS sites (SOP process)
- Define the long-term plan (> 3 years) in term of industrial footprint
- Govern ANZ cluster capacity and workload optimization in line with Footprint Strategy, Make/Buy target and Capex priorities.
- Review industrial capacity & capex needs
- Align MoB with long term industrial strategies. Prepare scenario and needed business cases to help select the best industrial scenario
- Project Industrial Organization
- Link sales/bid, platform and business operations strategies to local Footprint & Make / Buy Strategy and possible options for each projects.
- Ensure workload/bid PIOs are optimized to global strategies, capabilities, transformation ambition/status & respects NRC (New Rolling Stock) priorities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, manufacturing, and projects, to implement operational changes.
Capex management
- Coordinate regional capex governance
- Work with sites and functions to define Capex budget for Rolling Stock
- Coordinate monthly capex reporting with Finance
- Ensure CAMT (capex management tool) is kept up to date
- Work with sites and government bodies to collect grants by preparing necessary business cases
- Work with sites to identify offensive capex (automation, new technology deployment,…) to enable AT to stay the leader in manufacturing excellence.

- Bachelor's degree in operations management, industrial engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Sound understanding of costing for changes
- Proven experience with Investiment Projects
- Analysis of overseas markets and how it could be done here in Australia
- We are looking for a forward strategic thinking person with 7 years of experience in operations management, preferably with a focus on optimizing footprint strategies.
