Located at our Bellevue site, the Perth Metronet project is looking to welcome an SAP Site Lead (GSI) to the team and to be regarded as one of Alstom’s go-to SAP experts as we move to GSI.
A smaller site, the scope and opportunity for this role to have a significant impact on the overall operation and efficiency of this well-regarded rolling stock project for WA is ripe for a passionate, experienced, and resourceful SAP professional. With an established team of some of the best technical experts and a clear focus on efficiency and effectiveness this position is accountable for all SAP activity on the site, supporting key users and ensuring the achievement of all key performances of the system to enable delivery targets are reached.
As the subject matter expert, the GSI Site Lead has experience in the operational requirements of the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system and ideally has had exposure to a manufacturing or production site’s operations and reliance on ERP outputs for its’ delivery.
We are seeking an experienced SAP key user, who can interpret data and communicate effectively any potential risks, issues and/or opportunities to senior leaders. This role will further call on skills including:
- An ability to guide and coach others in the application of SAP
- Eye for detail and accuracy in the input of information
- A sound understanding of either supply chain, procurement, material or production planning or quality management processes
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
