We have exciting opportunities available for Mechanical Fitters to join our team responsible for the delivery of the High Capacity Signalling (HCS) project in Perth, Western Australia. You will play a key role in helping keep Perths rail network safe and reliable.
Based onsite at Nowergup, You will be maintaining, repairing, fabricating and modifying multiple fleets that are operating across Perths network.
Your future role:
- Conduct various tests, e.g. Air Leak test, Bogie Swing and Sway test
- Measuring and marking out materials for fabrication
- Keeping records of operations, safety and maintenance procedures
- Setting up tools and machinery for fabrication process, including guides, stops and other controls
- Monitoring assembly process and adjusting when necessary.

About you:
- Mechanical Trade Certification or Certificate III in Engineering or similar
- Ability to be able to interpret technical diagrams & drawings
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
- Must have full working rights in Australia.
