AWS is where innovation, risks, and ideas are celebrated. We are builders, we try new things, and imagine big dreams. It is still Day 1 for us, and we are looking for curious and passionate people to expand our diverse teams of thinkers, testers, and doers. WHAT DOES AN CLOUD SALES REPRESENTATIVE DO?
You will help our customers harness the power of the cloud. As a Cloud Sales Representative, you will work backwards from the customer need to help them understand the value of AWS services, developing new and lasting relationships in a variety of accounts. You’ll make sure the customer’s short-term technology decisions align with their long-term goals; speeding up the adoption of services will be part of your day to day.
The opportunity to help new customers is vast – and we need builders who are up to the task. We currently have roles supporting the areas of Enterprise, Greenfields, ISV, (Digital Natives) DNB and SMB across multiple locations. Where do you see yourself?
HOW WILL I RAISE THE BAR IN THIS ROLE?
This is no ordinary inside sales role! You will own the entire sales process, from prospecting to close. To surprise and delight the customer, you’ll need to deeply understand the customer’s needs and demonstrate how AWS services can be of value. You will Deliver Results by exceeding annual sales targets, through accurate pipeline management, and on-target forecasting. And you’ll help cultivate new and grow existing partners, to enable them on their AWS journey, too.
WHAT CAN I BRING TO THE ROLE?
At least 2-5 years B2B sales experience (multiple opportunities available)
Revenue closing experience, with a consistent track record - you’ll need to close in this role
Highly effective communication skills
Strong alignment with our Amazon Leadership Principles
Genuine interest, or experience, in technology and cloud
Comfortability managing your role from a virtual location
Collaborative problem solving with a growth mindset
WHAT IF I’M NOT AN EXPERT IN ALL THESE AREAS YET?
That’s okay! This is not a grad role, but we would love to hear from people who are passionate about their careers. At AWS, we strive to Hire and Develop the Best from all backgrounds – and we’re committed to providing coaching, support, and pathways to Amazonians who love to Learn and Be Curious.
