Role Summary
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to support the WWSI Partner Solution Architect technical programs. You will be responsible for driving, executing and monitoring of various AWS Partner Technical enablement programs within APJ. These programs are aimed to increase the technical capabilities of our AWS Services Partners. A successful technical program manager leverage their technical depth, management and leadership capabilities to pro-actively identify and manage risks, resolve issues, and escalate where appropriate to drive a high bar. You will play an active role in building the future state of Partner skill validation programs, creating technical content with multiple teams, develop training and implementation plans, and build requirements for applications to support these programs. You will be tasks to create new mechanisms or deprecating existing systems and processes that are no longer needed to ensure operational efficiency. All these efforts require you to work with multiple business and technical teams in and/or across organizations as well as work directly with our AWS Partner community.
You will have have a proven track record in building and scaling successful technical enablement programs for internal and external stakeholders. You will have strong communication, product building, and program management skills. You will also have experience and skills associated with building out and driving technical programs from scratch with success indicators built in, with an ability to look around corners. As an effective Technical Program Manager you will collect data from multiple sources – including client, partner and AWS internal teams – and compile it into a digestible and actionable format. You will track key performance indicators to help support the lifecycle of a program and ensure sustainability. You will provide workstream status updates to stakeholders and business leaders up to executive levels. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasked, high energy environment. They will be a creative and analytical problem solver with a passion for delivering results.
This role could involve up to 20% travel.

Key job responsibilities
* Develop and maintain AWS partner technical validation programs, delivering an excellent Partner experience and enforcing a consistent technical bar across all reviews.
* Work with global Partner Solutions Architects (PSAs) in order to drive consistent mechanisms across all validations
* Implementing a mechanism for measuring Partner satisfaction, reporting and analyzing operational data to identify process defects, building ongoing enablement mechanisms to drive consistency and standardization across global teams.
* Automate processes and lead development efforts through automation work that increase output of the program, while maintaining quality.
* Own email campaigns, funding requests, partner recruitment efforts for the global program
* Develop a global program strategy, and deploy it with regional enablement and productivity leads
* Create effective communications and program roadmaps that align with regional and worldwide stakeholders
* Own documentation updates (internal and external), serve as the primary point of contact for questions and escalations related to program operations.
*Develop and manage project reporting (e.g., QBRs, EBCs), schedules, milestones, goals and success criteria
* Implement feedback loops to continuously iterate on programmatic/scale mechanisms that improve upon existing systems, services, and programs
* Work directly within AWS data lakes, and create real-time dashboards to report on program deliverables
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* 6+years of technical program management experience in the industry* 6+ years experience in building and driving successful enablement programs at scale
* Experience in engaging and influencing technical and business decision makers
* Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship building skills, across all levels of management
* Ability to articulate ideas through writing narratives, presenting complex technical frameworks to cross-functional audiences
* Ability to influence senior leadership through data driven analysis and decision making
* Experience engaging and influencing technical and business decision makers
* Experience managing multiple successful program and project implementations.
* Works effectively in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
* Strong familiarity with office software programs and web-based applications including SFDC and Tableau
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* A demonstrated ability to synthesize complex concepts, formulate a clear point of view, and write concise and compelling narratives.* An agile, flexible builder with a “can-do” approach to managing ambiguity and a highly iterative creative process
* Proven success in working with technical teams and executive leadership in a complex environment
* Ability to apply strategic thinking and demonstrate understanding of requirements to execute
* Prior experience working in one or various partner networks.
* Strong experience with BI tools such as Tableau and Amazon Quicksight
* Some experience with software development/scripting
* Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
