Job summary
The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS) team is seeking a self-driven, organized, and innovative Program Manager with experience managing and leading projects from conception through evaluation and maintenance. You will work with our global senior leaders and stakeholders from across the organization to conduct a needs assessment, identify gaps, and deliver an outcome-focused program to enable Executive Assistants (EA) to best perform at every stage of their career with a core curriculum and personalized content, trainings, and resources. The ideal candidate will have a strong business acumen and experience interfacing effectively with senior leaders across geographies.

Key job responsibilities
  • Partner with different stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve the quality of administrative training and coaching. Identify gaps in existing learning material and work with the relevant teams to innovate content that will help the function scale further.
  • Take a data driven approach and build relationships with senior leaders to implement solutions to maximize EA functionality and effectiveness.
  • End-to-end ownership and maintenance of the WWPS EA Wiki page to ensure common operating processes are established and communicated to the EA team.
  • Ownership of EA communication through monthly newsletters and bi-monthly EA calls with the global WWPS EA team highlighting important recurring events and business cycles to manage with their leaders and to create work backward project plans.
  • Bi-yearly check in with all EA managers to collect input and highlight growth opportunities.
  • Participate in broader executive administrative community; take an active role in the planning committee for the annual Administrative Summit, steering committees for onboarding training sessions, and lunch and learns.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • EA Experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator; experience in engaging multiple stakeholders
  • Managed and developed a team, and achieved collective success
  • The ability to work in fast-paced ambiguous environments, adapting quickly to changing circumstances, processes and priorities
  • Full proficiency in MS Office

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in change management and process improvement activities, designing scalable solutions and implementing these at pace and at scale
  • Familiar with administration training and content development
  • Ability to influence leaders at all levels to understand their role in employee development and help build their skills.
