Amplitude Energy is Australia's first carbon-neutral gas plant, contributing to Australia's sustainable energy future by commercialising gas, oil and other resources for domestic markets. In FY24 we relaunched our induction modules for all new employees, with a clear focus on culture and values. Amplitude Energy encourages people to give back to others by supporting employees to participate in volunteering within our community with two days of paid volunteer leave per annum. We engage with staff through a variety of forums, including team meetings, monthly staff meetings, and regular updates from the Managing Director & CEO, Jane Norman.

Learning within Amplitude Energy comes from various sources, including both on-the-job and formal training. Our framework consists of a formal planning process with a review of development objectives, focusing on a 70:20:10 principle with 70% of training on the job, 20% from mentoring and exposure to various projects and 10% from formal training with external providers.

We don't have a fly-in fly-out workforce. Our people, contractors, and most of our suppliers live and work in the communities of regional Victoria.
We talk to our communities, inform them of our actions and ask for their feedback. Where possible we also engage them in decision-making, as we see the benefits of co-existence and diversity in local economies.

Our sustainability projects are helping to restore degraded land in South Australia and support reforestation and build capacity in Vietnam.
