Role description:
Arcadis is the world's leading company delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets. Arcadis, an accredited and A rated Energex consultant has a growing pipeline of major road and residential projects. We are looking to expand our team with experienced and motivated electrical designers specialising in Energex URD and Rate 2 accredited services.
Role accountabilities:
- Working under Energex design standards, prepare detailed drawings, reports, calculations and schedules for major rate 2 road lighting and URD projects
- Use of relevant design software (AutoCAD, LVdrop, Perfect lite & AGI32)
- Preparing Isolux and illuminance calculations using specialised software’
- Engaging in weekly project update meetings; and
- Attend and participate in client meetings; and assist project managers with coordination of deliverables.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience with relevant design software
- Experienced with Energex design standards and procedures
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
Highly regarded skills include: - Tertiary qualification in electrical &/or lighting design
- MIES Status
- Chartered engineering status
