Our Resilience Business is seeking a new Business Leader to lead our National Energy & Resources business across Australia. The Energy & Resources team is one of our core business lines incorporating Energy Transition, Power Systems, Transmission, Distribution, Storage, Urban Services and Renewables with clients across both the public and private sector.
Reporting to the Business Area Director, the Business Leader has ultimate accountability for account profitability and operational success of the 70 head strong business. Working as part of the Senior leadership team, you’ll use your extensive knowledge within the energy and renewables space to identify opportunities, lead the development of proposals and build and manage a team with specialist capabilities for best practice delivery.
Joining a global consultancy, you and your team will collaborate with colleagues in Europe and Asia as well as North & South America. This will allow us to bolster our offering in Australia and bring the best in class to our clients.
As a natural networker with established contacts and credibility in the Australian market, you’ll use your commercial acumen to continue to grow our brand. Your previous experience in managing large teams will allow you to manage our resources and capabilities to ensure outstanding client care.
About You
Coming from a leadership or executive role, your values are aligned with Arcadis’ – People First, Collaboration, Client Success, Integrity and Sustainability. You will also bring with you:
- Demonstrated ability to lead, with good influencing, motivating and delegation skills
- Well established client management and business development skills in a consultancy environment
- Experience in leading a business unit or a profit center within a larger business unit within a consulting services environment
- Well-developed commercial skills, including familiarity with contractual conditions and procedures, and experience of taking commercial responsibility for major projects and businesses
- Experienced in leading large teams from varied backgrounds and cultures
- Relevant degree, ideally with Chartered status or equivalent professional accreditation
- Postgraduate qualifications in business, finance or project management related areas an advantage.
