This role is the financial lead for PC Zaragoza, reporting to the GM Product Company and working with the Division Business Control team.

Your Mission:

  • Provide timely and accurate financial analysis to support management in making informed decisions.
  • Operational Excellence: Driving cost optimization, boosting efficiency and competitiveness.

Your role

As a Business Controller, you'll be at the heart of our financial operations, steering the organization's accounting functions and empowering strategic financial decisions through precise and timely reporting. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll contribute significantly to our overall success.

Short Description

Your Mission:

  • Provide timely and accurate financial analysis to support management in making informed decisions.

Your day-to-day
  • Oversee the PC's profit and loss statements and balance sheets in full.
  • Ensures all financials, such as market contributions, working capital, receivables, and payables,are precise.
  • Delivers prompt, useful financial reports, explain variances, and provides insights that enhance business understanding for better decision-making and opportunity identification.
  • Maintains working capital accuracy and supports capital investments by supplying thorough financial analysis to meet profitability targets, then monitors company-owned assets.
  • Handles accounting and financial procedures, ensuring they comply with laws, corporate policies, and auditor requirements, and continually improves processes for efficiency and real-time data.
  • Offers general financial advice across the business, contributes to investment proposal reviews, and leads or participates in finance-focused projects, such as internal reorganizations and system upgrades.
  • Guarantees that PC Zaragoza adheres to necessary accounting standards and maintains strong internal controls.
  • To ensure that adequate internal control processes are in place and that Group processes are implemented.
  • To participate in business activities and thereby actively contribute to developing the business in accordance with the strategy and targets.
  • To raise “red flags” to operational and/or holding management whenever compliance with sound business principles is at risk.

Personality requirements

  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with the management and employees at all levels. Must possess good leadership capabilities and the ability to empower the members within the finance and admin team

  • Strong attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Result-oriented, with a strong focus on quality, accuracy and deadlines
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from divisional management and the local teams

Your location

This role requires you to work on-site at our office in Zaragoza, Spain (ES). You will be part of a dynamic team and enjoy the benefits of face-to-face collaboration.

Knowledge
  • 10+ years experience in Financial environment
  • Experience in Finance Team management
  • Exposition to International business environment & Large company
  • Advance knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Advance knowledge in Power BI and other analytical tools advantageous
  • Able to work with Systems , ERP projects implementation can be a good advantage
  • A comprehensive knowledge of Spanish statutory, legal, and taxation requirements is strongly recommended.
  • Previous experience in GEMS/ SAP migration
