The Business Services Support is a valued team member within Aurizon. You will provide a high-quality service to our customers by performing a range of business support functions within the Business Services Team in the Murray St administration building and nearby training centre. This is a 9 month contract role.
About the role:
- Be the first face customers and employees see entering our Rockhampton facilities
- Process training centre meeting bookings, catering requests, and arrange meeting room set ups
- Monitor and replenish consumables e.g. stationary, hygiene supplies
- Document administration, database, and finance support tasks
- Process incoming and outgoing mail and courier tasks
- Liaise with the Guest and Business Services Manager to deliver tasks in accordance with team Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Undertake support activities in both the main administration building and the training centre which are located within walking distance of each other.
- Roster is Monday to Friday with alternating 7:30am-4pm and 8am-4:30pm shift times
About you:
- 2+ years’ experience in administrative support, customer service and related areas (Mandatory).
- An autonomous self-starter
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Able to undertake manual handling tasks in a safe manner.
- Able to work reliably and flexibly in a changing work environment.
- High level knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of financial software programs is preferred
- First Aid and CPR certificates are preferred but not mandatory
