About the role: As Aurizon continues to grow, we are seeking to expand the Payroll Services team to support new initiatives. Working with a team of highly skilled and technical capable payroll officers you will be coached and mentored to your full potential.
- Provide effective customer service to Aurizon's employees and leaders via both the electronic ticketing system and incoming phone calls.
- Fast and accurate manual data entry of timesheets, employees reimbursements, travelling allowances and study assistance claims.
- Ensure compliance with governance procedures and controls to ensure accurate records for all employees.
- Provide informed advice regarding employee entitlements in response to queries.
- Participate in the ongoing review of relevant processes and procedures within the Payroll Services team.
About you: Are you a Payroll Officer working for a small company who is looking to expand their skills with a large employer using SAP? Or are you a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is excited to learn new skills in the People or Finance space?
Aurizon's Payroll Services team has a solid and fully supported training program to make you an exceptional payroll team member.
- You are proficient with technology and have a demonstrated ability to grasp new systems quickly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Approachable and positive personality
- Have experience within a payroll function
- Ability to effectively set priorities and meet deadlines.
- An organised nature and time management skills are a must
- High level of attention to detail to ensure complete and accurate entry of information
- Ability to be self-motivated and driven to work independently and determine and action the correct response/solution
