Due to a strong focus on delivery of our Safety Strategy in our Safety, Health & Environment team, we are seeking a Safety Strategy and Systems Analyst to provide analytical and other support across the function.
This is a great opportunity for a junior analyst to take a next step in their career and deepen their knowledge of safety management systems, legislation and regulatory requirements, human factors and change, within the safety environment.
About the role:
- Provide support to reporting and analytics function to manage and assure data quality and integrity
- Conduct periodic safety performance reporting using appropriate data and analytics tools
- Assist in detailed and/or site-based safety activities required to achieve the objectives of the safety strategy and plan
- Assist in the planning, design, development, and implementation of enterprise-wide safety improvement activities
- Provide support for risk and assurance activities
- Provide support, as required, to Managers and Principals across the team in the delivery of key services
- Supports a culture of collaboration and accountability within Corporate Safety team to enable optimal ways of working across the Safety community
About you:
- 1 - 2 years’ post graduate experience required
- Degree level qualification (or equivalent experience) (mandatory)
- Understanding of relevant legislative and regulatory requirements
- Reporting and analytics skills with both qualitative and quantitative data
- High level of teamwork enabling engaging and collaborative approach
- High level of stakeholder management and communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
