Due to a strong focus on delivery of our Safety Strategy in our Safety, Health & Environment team, we are seeking a Safety Strategy and Systems Analyst to provide analytical and other support across the function.

This is a great opportunity for a junior analyst to take a next step in their career and deepen their knowledge of safety management systems, legislation and regulatory requirements, human factors and change, within the safety environment.

About the role:

• Provide support to reporting and analytics function to manage and assure data quality and integrity
• Conduct periodic safety performance reporting using appropriate data and analytics tools
• Assist in detailed and/or site-based safety activities required to achieve the objectives of the safety strategy and plan
• Assist in the planning, design, development, and implementation of enterprise-wide safety improvement activities
• Provide support for risk and assurance activities
• Provide support, as required, to Managers and Principals across the team in the delivery of key services
• Supports a culture of collaboration and accountability within Corporate Safety team to enable optimal ways of working across the Safety community

About you:

• 1 - 2 years’ post graduate experience required
• Degree level qualification (or equivalent experience) (mandatory)
• Understanding of relevant legislative and regulatory requirements
• Reporting and analytics skills with both qualitative and quantitative data
• High level of teamwork enabling engaging and collaborative approach
• High level of stakeholder management and communication skills
• Excellent time management and organisation skills
