Your new role
The Lead, Leadership & Talent is responsible for the development and execution of programs of work that support an uplift in the capability of colleagues at the Fund.
This includes the development and delivery of initiatives to address the needs of the Fund relating to key talent identification, assessment and development, and leadership/management development.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Manager Talent Management and Talent Management Consultant in the development and application of talent management and leadership tools and frameworks. This involves the execution of the talent identification, assessment and development programs, and design of our leadership development pathway.
Some of your key duties will include:
- Coordinate externally run talent assessment and development initiatives as well as leading the design and delivery of internally facilitated assessment and development initiatives
- Monitoring of development of key talent, and reporting to ExCo and the People and Culture Committee of the Board on the progress and outcomes of the talent management program
- Lead the design and execution of the talent identification, assessment and development programs.
- Effectively manage existing external vendors and procure new vendors to support our leadership development needs
- Work closely with leaders and employees as a coach and facilitator to help identify strengths, and close development gaps
- Build and develop effective relationships with all levels of the Fund, including key stakeholders, people leaders, subject matter experts and colleagues
What you'll need
- Experience in leading people and teams
- Experience in the development of strategies, change management and project plans is essential
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills to engage audiences
- Demonstrated prudent judgment when making important decisions by utilising knowledge of industry best practices and current trends
- Demonstrated experience in the design of leadership development initiatives and programs
- Cross-functional expertise and thrives in a complex and sometimes ambiguous environment
- Knowledge and experience with high potential/talent assessment processes
- Strong collaboration skills across multiple teams is required to be successful in this role
- Organisational coaching accreditation (e.g. IECL or equivalent) is beneficial
- Certification and experience in debriefing behavioural assessment instruments (preferably Human Synergistics and Saville Wave)
