The Role:
As a Resource Operations Lead you will be responsible for the delivery of resource allocation, scheduling & planning across Avanade's Australian business. You will lead a small team of dedicated professionals and drive large, complex processes to ensure optimisation of resource allocation to client projects. Through analysis of supply & demand trends you will identify and lead initiatives to enable Avanade to maximise operational efficiency, while ensuring timely alignment & availability of capability with projects. Overall, you will lead the members of your team in resource operations and will oversee the function within one or more large & complex regions/Market Units.
What we need from you:
We need you to drive chargeability, recovery and operational excellence through management of the scheduling function and oversight and integration of the internal operations functions.
Support active bench management strategies to ensure ongoing operational efficiency of the workforce in support of business profitability, with particular focus on chargeability.
You will work on large-scale, strategically critical, high-risk projects that require significant oversight & coordination.
Analysis and forecasting of resource management to support project and workforce planning.
Analyse productivity and chargeability of consulting resources
Maintain data hygiene & accuracy of resourcing-related systems to enable accurate and timely reporting.
Support smooth transitions of project resources between projects and the bench, including Day 1 project onboarding and readiness.
Experience partnering with local leadership and recruiting to define and fulfil talent needs.
Extraordinary ability to mentor, support, and lead your team towards achieving Avanade’s objectives and their personal goals.
Build and implement work plans for assigned projects or clients to support the translation of strategy into objectives.
When necessary, reshape work plans and provide operational leadership during the process.
Your Skills/Capabilities:

- 2+ years’ experience in Resource Management in a multinational organisation, preferably in Professional Services

Ideally you have a bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics or a related field and have held a similar role in a consultancy-based organisation with global multinationals.
