About the Role
The purpose of the role is to on-board, educate and influence accredited residential mortgage brokers in order to build a relationship with them. As a desk bound relationship manager you will support a portfolio of brokers who are not assigned to an “on road” Relationship Manager.
You will professionally manage Broker relationships and identify and convert new business opportunities whilst developing a sound understanding of the Broker’s business to identify opportunities to partner with them
You will also assist with conducting Broker Accreditation, training workshops and attend Broker / Industry functions and events therefore some experience in this area will certainly be useful.
Finally, you will be accountable for monitoring sales pipeline to ensure sales budgets are achieved and initiate planned activities to rectify when necessary so you will need to develop comprehensive knowledge of products, pricing, policy and procedures
About you
To be considered for this role you will have demonstrated Relationship Management experience within financial services
A relevant degree qualification or a diploma combined with a background in residential third party / Broker sales.
You will demonstrate a professional approach at all times, be able to communicate strongly and openly to both individuals and groups, think outside the square and have top-notch networking skills. Credit Delegation experience will be highly regarded as will training, facilitation or presentation experience.
Above all else, you will be a self-directed, motivated team player who is passionate about providing a better customer experience and you will thrive on working within a fast-paced organisation.
