About the Role
We are recruiting for an excellent new opportunity within our Group Operations department! By joining the team as an Operations Excellence Coach, you will have the opportunity to support process transformation and the continued focus on operational excellence maturity across Group Operations and the broader organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach, mentor and advise teams in best practice ways of working methodology and assisting with the enhancement of operational rhythms
- Guide teams in using and sharing data to improve outcomes, delivery, organisational support and benefit realisation
- Guide teams in removing impediments, finding agreement and resolving conflicts
- Coach individuals at all levels of the organisation including leaders focused on driving continuous improvement in their approach to data driven interventions and key operating rhythm objectives
- Build long lasting relationships with key senior stakeholders (from across the business including: senior leaders, external vendors, Consultants etc)
- Report and present back to senior leadership groups and aligned committees
- Lead consistent reviews on best practice ways of working methodology
- Proactively assist in the implementation of process improvements and initiatives in line with the Group Process Optimisation strategy
- Exemplify the BOQ Group values of Spirited, Optimistic, Curious, Inclusive, Accountable and Lionhearted to contribute to the purpose of Building Social Capital through Banking.
- Understand and comply with the Code of Conduct and any additional policies and procedures which apply to the role to ensure BOQ Group excels, complies with laws and regulations, and upholds their reputation.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following abilities:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the financial industry, preferably in a banking environment
- Ability to lead cross functional work groups and problem solve with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring teams to achieve objectives
- Experience in the facilitation and delivery of an operational methodology
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational and project management skills
