Project Overview:
Join a high-performing team delivering a mining project involving the replacement of two bucket-wheel reclaimers and associated infrastructure.
The project includes the design, procurement, installation and commissioning of two new reclaimers, together with structural, mechanical, electrical, communications, civil and supporting infrastructure works. Delivered within an integrated owner-EPCM environment, the project requires close collaboration across engineering, construction, operations and supply chain functions.
This is an opportunity to contribute to the commercial delivery of multiple high-value contract packages within a dynamic and technically complex project environment.
Job Summary:
As a Contracts Specialist, you will support assigned contract packages across the full contract lifecycle, with an initial focus on contract formation activities including tender preparation, commercial evaluation, negotiation and award. As the project progresses, the role will transition into contract administration and management, including change management, commercial correspondence, performance management and contract closeout.
Working closely with Engineering, Construction, Operations and Supply Chain, you will help navigate commercial and contractual issues, support effective decision-making and ensure contractual commitments are clearly understood and effectively managed.
The role will suit a commercially astute contracts professional who can manage competing priorities and consistently deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced project environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate initiative, accountability and strong commercial acumen, while building effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and delivering practical commercial outcomes. Working within a collaborative and supportive project team, you will be expected to take ownership of your work and contribute positively to the success of the broader team
Experience in mining, construction, major projects or EPCM environments, together with demonstrated experience in contract formation and tendering, will be highly regarded.
