We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Digital Marketing Platforms Manager to come on board, reporting into the Head of Digital Marketing. You will lead and develop marketing platforms to maximise the value extract from each system. Play a key role in the management and upkeep of data, processes, and integrations of the technology stack relevant to Group Marketing.
Working cross functionally with marketing, business users, and technology teams, you will be the conduit between these areas and provide data integration advice, development pipeline support, and marketing technology. This role can be based in any of our office locations: Adelaide, Bendigo, Melbourne, or Sydney – as required, in a hybrid approach, some days you’d be in the office, and then other days you’d be working from home to help better balance your life and work.
As the Digital Marketing Platforms Manager you will:
- You will be accountable for the management of marketing platforms ensuring they are operating efficiently and maximising marketing outcomes
- Collaborate with IT and data teams on technical enablers to increase cross-sell, optimisation, personalisation across channels such as web, email, and SMS
- Partner with Marketing, business stakeholders and Tech and Data teams prioritise, schedule and resource the marketing platform development pipeline
- Collaborate with UX / UI teams, business, and development teams to validate user requirements and product improvements
- Keep up to date with latest technology trends and influence the marketing platform roadmap
- Regularly monitor and report on holistic effectiveness and performance metrics and indicators across digital marketing platforms
- Monitor marketing platform KPI’s including platform health and performance and report on findings
To be successful in the role, you'll have:
- Demonstrated previous experience in developing and support digital or related technology platforms
- Previous experience working within digital marketing or a regulated industry
- Proven experience and results in partnering with vendors and suppliers, particularly in IT and Marketing
- Expert knowledge of marketing platforms, IT development standards, data flows and data ecosystems
- An understanding of the marketing technology landscape and IT enterprise architecture (including Google Cloud, BigQuery, Google Analytics, Unica, Optimizely)
- A strong understanding of customer interaction with the online environment including web and mobile with a keen appreciation of user experience and customer centred design
- Exceptional analytical, numerical, and reporting skills
- Experience in matching roadmaps to business needs
- A highly collaborative style with the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders at all levels
