The Opportunity

Our Business Performance and Reporting team is looking for a data guru to join their them in their quest to bring meaningful insights for our Business Banking and Agribusiness divisions.

The role will be principally responsible for:

  • Data interrogation, validation and integration using T-SQL, PL/SQL, SAS EG, Control M, Python,
  • Dashboard reporting using Power BI, Qlik Sense;
  • Produce creative data visualisations and intuitive graphics to present complex analytics;
  • The design and build of analytical business intelligence applications for Business Banking and Agribusiness;
  • Produce analytical work that is customer focused;
  • Discover trends, patterns and stories told by the data, structured and unstructured, and present them to stakeholders; and
  • Leverage new data sources and extract further value from existing company data.

About You

You will use your analytical thinking to develop practical solutions to problems. Through greater automation and enhancement of existing reports/dashboards and the use of creative analytical tools, techniques and solutions. You will have the opportunity to help to improve business performance by liberating capacity and structuring business driver information in such a way that access to this information is fast, accurate, consistent and enables business units to make informed decisions and track their performance.

Prior experience using Python to create machine learning models or exposure to Google Cloud Service is an advantage or alternatively an appetite to learn and develop your skills.

You will have a proactive approach, enjoy solving problems, tenacity, creative thinking, business acumen, and have good presentation and communication skills. Your PowerBI and SQL skills will also help you succeed in this role.
