About the role
We currently have a permanent opportunity for a Digital Marketing Optimisation Specialist who will be responsible for the optimisation of digital products and services across the bank’s group websites. As a digital marketer passionate about continuous improvement, you’ll work closely with our technology teams to lead, create, and deliver an optimisation roadmap.
Supporting the Digital Marketing team you will measure, track, and interpret online behaviour and then leverage these insights to identify opportunities for improvement to drives sales and improve our customer’s online experiences. You’ll drive and evolve the conversion rate optimisation and personalisation strategies across digital assets, creating and delivering an optimisation roadmap.
This is a hands-on role requiring technical proficiency in digital performance optimisation, an analytical and commercial mind, as well as a passion for keeping up to date with emerging digital trends in digital experimentation. You’ll be part of a small, tight-knit team with a wealth of digital expertise where you’ll be given ownership to deliver unique value propositions in the banking industry. This role can be based in any of our office locations: Adelaide, Bendigo, Melbourne, Brisbane, or Sydney in a hybrid approach, some days you’ll be in the office, and then other days you’ll be working from home to help better balance your life and work.
About you
As the Digital Marketing Optimisation Specialist, you’ll get to:
- Work with stakeholders, Product Teams, and Digital Squads to prioritise, schedule, and resource the digital experimentation development pipeline
- Work with the Optimizely Digital Experience Platform (DXP) to plan a program of experiments that improve the digital customer experience.
- Write user stories for features and functionality
- Collaborate with UX / UI teams, business, and development teams to validate user requirements and product improvements
- Champion Conversion Rate Optimisation, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), WCAG accessibility and internal search to drive business online
- Analyse, design, and optimise sites applying a mixture of analytics and creativity with HTML & CSS programming
- Identify strategies to continually improve user experience (UX) to drive digital sales
- Use the concepts of A/B, multivariate testing and personalisation to optimise user experience on sites to drive conversion rate
- Share digital marketing, optimisation, and web expertise to build knowledge and capabilities with CMS users
To be successful in the role, you'll have:
- Demonstrated capabilities in Conversion Rate Optimisation/ Digital Experimentation, primary focusing on improving website and customer journey experiences to deliver growth
- Prior experience with building and supporting websites within a Content Management Systems (Optimizely or similar) and measuring success via Google Analytics
- A strong understanding of customer interaction with the online environment including web and mobile with a keen appreciation of customer experience and customer centred design
- Proven experience gathering, eliciting, and documenting functional and non-functional requirements
- The ability to debug code and work with developers in optimising and executing functionality on websites
- Exceptional analytical, numerical, and reporting skills
- Familiarity with CRO tools, JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft product suite, and managing or working within teams utilising the Agile and/or waterfall development methodologies
- Experience with HTML & CSS programming is desirable
