About the role

As the Business Development Manager , you will primarily be assisting our customers with their lending requirements for Micro-Business (<$200k), Agribusiness (<$500k), and Home Loans, showcasing your broad knowledge and experience in lending. You will use your business development skills to build long term connections with local community groups, stakeholders and partners to drive business opportunities across our entire geographical area (Cummins, Tumby Bay, Cleve, Wudinna and surrounding districts).

You will be responsible primarily for customer acquisition and having the ability to establish and maintain quality referral partner relationships. Prospecting and networking skills will be critical to ensure continued growth.

This position is based at Community Bank Cummins District, however it is predominantly a mobile role . The role is Permanent Full time working 76 hours per fortnight.


About you

  • Business development capability and established quality referrals and networks
  • Understanding of financial management, business acumen and risk framework
  • Highly developed lending knowledge and credit analysis skills will be essential
  • Ability to exceed customer expectations through an understanding on their individual financial needs
  • Drive to acquire a diverse customer base and meet business targets
  • Organised approach to managing volumes of work with initiative and attention to detail
  • Self-driven with the ability to work autonomously
  • Customer focussed approach with the ability to assess customer needs and tailor practical lending solutions
