Our new Sales Support – Business Banking and Agribusiness team has specialised teams with specific areas of focus to support our front-line business banking and Agri banking teams. About the role
Known internally as a Lending Analyst you will be part of a national team who work collaboratively with our customer facing Business Banking Relationship Associates and Relationship Managers. Your core focus will be the accurate completion of credit assessments including the preparation of straightforward credit memorandums and related analysis and covering all credit events.
Day to day your responsibilities will include:
- Accurate preparation and administration of loan files
- Processing of documentation, loan applications and evaluations
- Managing the end-to-end loan application process including:
- Financial & Credit Analysis
- Credit Submission Preparation (TAE up to $5m)
- Coordinate settlements where required
As we get ready to launch our new model, we are looking to fill multiple permanent and fixed term positions. You can be based anywhere across Australia, provided you have access to one of our offices or branches. Hybrid ways of working are core to how we operate today, and flexible work options are available. We are also open to the role being either full time or part time (0.8 FTE or up), so talk to us about what flexibility looks like to you.

To be the successful candidate, it is essential that you have:
- Advanced financial acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of business structures and experience conducting financial analysis including ability to analyse and interpret financial statements and cash flows
- High attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure, meeting customer delivery deadlines
- Ability to adapt in a changing environment and work with a continuous improvement lens
Additional experience that would be advantageous:
- Knowledge of banking regulations, policies, procedures and the range of a bank’s products and services
- Understanding of the end-to-end business lending process, including the annual review process
- Solid understanding of credit writing and credit assessment, including loan structuring
- Exposure to business/commercial loans with complex lending up to $5 million
- Tertiary qualification in a business-related field
