We currently have a permanent opportunity for an Organisational Development Lead to join the team with primary responsibility for the Risk Capability portfolio. Working across the enterprise you’ll engage with key internal stakeholders to build relationships and offer your organisational development expertise. With foundational frameworks already in place you will identify, develop, implement, and continually improve solutions to build the risk skills and capability of our people.
As a passionate OD professional, you’ll champion sustainable and contemporary programs that are learner lead utilising multiple delivery methods. You’ll lead a small team of Organisational Development Consultants and manage resourcing of projects. You’ll focus on delivering value and execute against a plan to prepare our people and the organisation for the future.

Ideally this role will be based in one of our main office locations in Melbourne, Bendigo, or Adelaide for the two days per week office-based work, noting that hybrid ways of working are core to how we operate today.
As Organisational Development Lead you will:
- Identify, develop, and deliver relevant and sustainable Organisational Development strategies and solutions aligned to organisational needs
- Manage the implementation and ongoing continuous improvement of Organisational Development strategies and solutions
- Provide thought leadership on your Risk Capability portfolio by keeping abreast of emerging trends, methodologies, tools, and techniques
- Leverage the cross-Organisational Capability/People and Culture team, using relevant agile practices to design, develop, and deliver solutions
- Develop strong relationships with leaders and Senior Leadership to promote awareness of and participation in design of solutions
- Develop effective relationships with external providers and leverage a partner-based approach to support our ability to design, develop and deliver solutions
- Employ an evidence-based approach, utilising research and data to make recommendations and implement improvements that enhance the effectiveness of solutions and organisational outcomes
To be successful in the role, you'll have:
- Extensive experience in Organisational Development, or Talent Identification and Succession Planning within a medium to large corporate organisation
- High level of proficiency within talent management, performance management, leadership, people capability
- Demonstrated leadership skills with either direct or indirect reports
- Extensive knowledge and advanced skills in the pragmatic application of change management and project management
- Proven capability in project management and execution for small and large initiatives
- Demonstrated success in the development and implementation of strategic programs in a commercial environment
- Strong consulting skills with ability to build trust and negotiate with influence
- Proven ability to think strategically and innovatively, while considering the organisational impacts
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology or related field
