Sandhurst Trustees Limited (Sandhurst), a wholly owned subsidiary of Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Limited, is part of the Consumer Banking Division. Sandhurst Commercial, is a high performing and successful team responsible for managing and introducing Commercial Loans, to be written on behalf of the Funds issued by Sandhurst in line with relevant parameters.

About the role

As Operations Manager, Sandhurst Lending and reporting to the Senior Manager Sandhurst Lending you are predominately responsible for the operations management for Sandhurst Commercial Lending business. This is a broad-based hands-on role offering the scope to proactively add value to the team, but also to learn and to continually develop self.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Development and management of the Sandhurst Commercial product suite including product management and compliance with the Product Lifecyle Framework
  • Identification and implementation of product and process improvement
  • Managing all Sandhurst Commercial collateral documents
  • Managing loan fulfillment and ongoing maintenance
  • Supporting the identification and rectification of risk events
  • Providing timely and proactive support for the Senior Manager Sandhurst Lending
  • Building and maintaining relationship with range of stakeholders within Sandhurst, Consumer Risk, Group Legal, Operations, Finance and other departments who support the delivery, management and maintenance of our Commercial Lending Product.

Ideally this role will be based at one of our corporate offices located Melbourne, Adelaide or Bendigo and we offer a flexible hybrid work arrangement with the expectation you are in the office 2 days per week.

About you

To be successful you will have

  • Tertiary qualifications Business, Finance, Economics desirable but not essential
  • Sound understanding of commercial lending including processes, product development and management
  • Proactive disposition and demonstrated use of initiative with the ability to identify issues and find solutions
  • Project management experience in particular to drive and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Highly proficient computer skills
