About the role
Join us as we continue to transform. In this role you will directly contribute to delivering on our Treasury Portfolio with particular focus on international payment systems, treasury deals and liquidity forecasting related projects, by bridging the gap between architecture and engineering. You will join a great go-getting team where you will provide teams with technical direction. This is a great role as you will get exposure to working across a range of initiatives at the bank.

In this role you will get to:
- Designing and delivering Treasury solutions, providing technical direction and mentoring engineers, guiding them as they scale up for transformation delivery.
- Take ownership of the technical direction, working with architects on end-to-end design, tooling and patterns.
- Working with stakeholders to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions.
- Producing technical design documentation artefacts.
- Working with product owners and business analysts to deliver features.
- Managing cloud environments in accordance with enterprise security architectures.
About you
You will have previous experience building and designing, highly automated enterprise technology solutions leveraging a cloud first approach. As well as able to work with stakeholders to identify and implement cloud-based solutions.
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Experience to guide engineers to build and maintain software from development through to production.
- Experience with technologies - Node.js, Typescript, Java, Springboot, CI/CD pipelines.
- Cloud capabilities AWS/Azure/Google, Kubernetes and Docker.
- Full Stack Applications, Containerised environments, micro-serviced architectures and understanding what enterprise architecture 'looks like' and why it should change.
- Cloud certifications and training in cloud architecture ideally.
