What you will enjoy doing

  • Lead and support engineering activities across multiple production facilities
  • Conduct HAZOPs, risk assessments, and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Manage end-to-end project delivery including design, documentation, stakeholder engagement, and EMOC processes
  • Prepare and manage CapEx proposals and budgets
  • Investigate incidents and support audits (TGA, ISO, SafeWork NSW)
  • Provide troubleshooting and reliability support to maintenance teams
  • Perform monthly gas-loss reporting and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with Production and Maintenance teams to meet safety, compliance, and productivity goals

What makes you great

  • A bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical / Process Engineering
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the gas or related industry
  • Experience in hazardous plant operations or MHF facilities is highly regarded
  • Knowledge of Process Hazard Analysis and Australian Standards
  • Familiarity with NSW WHS Act 2011 and WHS Regulation 2017
  • Cross-disciplinary knowledge (e.g., PLCs, electrical systems) is a plus
