What you will enjoy doing
- Lead and support engineering activities across multiple production facilities
- Conduct HAZOPs, risk assessments, and ensure regulatory compliance
- Manage end-to-end project delivery including design, documentation, stakeholder engagement, and EMOC processes
- Prepare and manage CapEx proposals and budgets
- Investigate incidents and support audits (TGA, ISO, SafeWork NSW)
- Provide troubleshooting and reliability support to maintenance teams
- Perform monthly gas-loss reporting and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with Production and Maintenance teams to meet safety, compliance, and productivity goals
What makes you great
- A bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical / Process Engineering
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the gas or related industry
- Experience in hazardous plant operations or MHF facilities is highly regarded
- Knowledge of Process Hazard Analysis and Australian Standards
- Familiarity with NSW WHS Act 2011 and WHS Regulation 2017
- Cross-disciplinary knowledge (e.g., PLCs, electrical systems) is a plus
