The Role
As Production Manager based at our Kwinana WA site, you will lead and facilitate input of global and local gas experts. Your responsibility will include management and co-ordination of staff, contractors and other roles to ensure that all ASU, CO2 & PSA Plants (7) are operated & maintained in a safe, reliable and efficient manner in order to achieve the key performance indicators (KPI’s) and annual plan objectives agreed with the General Manager including company and regulatory requirements.
Other key responsibilities
- Compliance with safety, health, environmental, quality and relevant industry (e.g., Food, Healthcare) standards
- Meeting contractual and supply commitments
- Coordinate with plant staff to achieve KPIs and annual plan objectives
- Cost control of plants including annual budget preparation and asset management plans
- Leads continuous improvement planning, value reporting, productivity initiatives and oversees execution
- Planning, supervision and execution of reliability, efficiency, maintenance and productivity activities
- Team development and training
- 5 years Operational experience with demonstrable exposure to process plant operations and site-based activity or equivalent
- University degree in Engineering desirable in Chemical, Mechanical or Instrumentation
- People management, prioritization, time management and problem solving
- Effective communication, collaborative approach, influencing and decision-making skills – multiple stakeholders
- Overall knowledge of process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control systems
- Capable of utilizing company business and safety systems
