About the role
The purpose of this position is to fulfil daily production requirements to achieve service, productivity, and asset utilization performance and improvement targets for Compressed Operations, whilst promoting Health, Safety, Quality and the Environment.
Based at our Penrose Operations Centre in New Zealand and reporting to the Shift Manager, via the Area Team Leaders, you will primarily be involved with the filling, handling & testing of BOC cylinders and their processing.

Other responsibilities in this role include:
- Reading, understanding and performing all production duties in accordance with written procedures and internal and external standards.
- Working in a safe manner in line with company Occupational Health and Safety and Loss Control policy guidelines and NSW Workplace Health and Safety legislation.
- Filling and handling all medical cylinders in accordance with the requirements of Medsafe New Zealand Good Manufacturing Practice for Medicinal Products.
- Ensure the product released for delivery to customers is within BOC-documented specifications.
- Operation of equipment and associated equipment in filling and handling of packaged gases and products.
- Picking and packing customer orders and loading/unloading delivery vehicles.
- Ensure product losses are minimized whilst performing operations.
- Execute daily Production Plans and ensure accurate production stock management.
- Ensure that the service provided to customers, both internal and external, is the highest possible standard.
- Proven experience in a continuous and batch production process environment of a related industrial field
- Forklift license
- Manual handling experience
- Some exposure to Industrial Environment
- Excellent Written and Verbal communication skills
