What you will enjoy doing

  • Manage phone and counter sales, providing excellent customer service and identifying opportunities to promote and upsell products
  • You will support in-store presentation through the development and maintenance of displays and promotional materials
  • Oversee stock control, including accurate dispatch, receipt of goods, and safe handling of gas cylinders
  • Further, you will maintain product availability and merchandising standards, ensuring a clean, organized, and customer-ready store environment
  • Contribute to the delivery and continuous improvement of welding and gas product/service offerings in line with business strategy
  • In addition, you will act as a positive representative of SPW / BOC, assisting customers promptly, handling queries and complaints, and ensuring a smooth transaction process
  • Uphold branch standards, policies, and procedures, while supporting a culture of operational excellence and customer satisfaction

  • You have a proven experience in retail sales, with strong business acumen and a track record of achieving personal and team results
  • Committed to delivering exceptional customer service, comfortable in presenting a wide range of products and services to meet customer needs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, resolve queries, and collaborate across teams
  • You are well-organised with strong time management, in fast-paced environments
  • Solid technical knowledge of welding products and safety equipment would be highly advantageous
