What you will enjoy doing
- You take ownership of the region’s growth and retention strategy, including volume targets and margin setting, strategic customer planning, and implement and maintain a structured call cycle and sales pipeline
- Maintaining a high level of customer focused activity, be out on the road serving your key customers as much as possible, you definitely do not like sitting in an office
- Responsible for Customer Management: Deliver market leading service and support to Elgas’ high value commercial customers in your region
- Furthermore, you will be self-generating New Business, take the lead in identifying, developing, and commercializing new customers to Elgas
- You will skillfully move customers through the sales process by selling the value of Elgas, utilizing negotiation and objection handling skills to navigate a win/win outcome for Elgas and the customer
- In addition to this, you will collaborate closely with local branch staff, fellow sales team members across, and industry stakeholders, to build a supporting network
- Maintaining relevant data in our system and producing coherent reports that demonstrate your knowledge and strategic plan for your region

- Demonstrated sales experience from any industry – no LPG experience necessary, we will fully train you
- Your strong desire to serve customers, motivation to deliver a high level of daily activity, and a passion for sales will aid you well in this position
- Enjoy being out of the office in front of people, you take initiative and are a self-starter with very good time management skills
- You’ll be given a company vehicle, plus all tools of trade to operate autonomously
- You possess an excellent verbal and written communication skills, and excellent personal presentation
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision with excellent abilities to time manage and prioritize
- You want to own your own region’s success, be responsible for significant customer revenue, be empowered to ‘do the deal’, and be hungry to win
- A clean and valid driver’s license a must have
