What you will enjoy doing
- Advise managers and employees on complex HR and employment matters, ensuring compliance and fairness
- Support performance processes, including the development and documentation of improvement plans
- Handle disciplinary actions and workplace investigations with a focus on fairness and adherence to legal standards
- Develop and implement HR processes, templates, and tools to enhance efficiency and compliance
- You will assist with HR activities such as employee engagement initiatives, contributing to a positive workplace culture
What makes you great
- You will have two to three (2-3) years of post-graduation HR experience in a generalist or employment relations-focused role
- Strong knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation, ensuring adherence to legal requirements
- Proven experience in managing performance processes, disciplinary actions, and investigations is required in this role
- Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes effectively under pressure
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, fostering positive relationships across the organization
