About the Opportunity
We are actively seeking a Technical Supervisor to join Concrite’s Technical division! As the newest member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring, developing and optimising the performance of our Concrete products in line with customer requirements and company processes.
This is a permanent, full-time position primarily based at our Moorebank site. Candidates with the flexibility to travel across Sydney are encouraged to apply. To support you, we will provide you with a Tool of Trade vehicle, phone and laptop.
Duties
Reporting to the Technical Manager, your contributions will see that you gain full exposure to a variety of duties including:
- Concrete mix design management
- Monitoring quality of concrete raw materials and reducing concrete mix costs
- Active monitoring of test results for concrete products to ensure conformance to Australian Standards and specifications.
- Assessing product’s field performance for suitability with customer requirements and applications
- Reviewing technical content of project specifications within tenders and offering innovative product solutions
- Regular customer liaison in regards to concrete quality and improvement
Skills/ Experience
To be successful, you must demonstrate:
- Proven experience in concrete technology
- Relevant tertiary qualifications are preferable
- Strong analytical and numerical abilities
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, and the ability to manage a variety of stakeholders
- High attention to detail with the ability to analyse, assess and mitigate contractual risk
- Strong commitment towards professional learning & development
- Current Driver’s License and the flexibility to travel across Sydney
