About the Opportunity
We are actively seeking a Plant Operator to join our Perth Metro Concrete operations. This is a permanent, full-time role that will require you to work on Saturdays.
This is an entry level opportunity aimed at teaching you the critical production skills that will contribute towards your progression at Boral. If you are eager to develop and want a long-term career, we want to hear from you!
Duties
Primarily you will be responsible for:
- Safe operation of a front end loader (with full training provided)
- Accurate batching of orders to specified mix designs
- Day-to-day administration of the Concrete Batch Plant including stock control of raw materials
- Batching of the correct concrete mix and allocating trucks
- Managing the day to day activities of a concrete batching plant including oversee an LOD fleet
- General yard and plant housekeeping and maintenance
About You
The successful candidate must demonstrate:
- Current and valid Drivers License
- Construction White Card, FEL & Forklift tickets preferred but not essential as full training provided
- Genuine interest and commitment towards learning and development
- Strong people skills and motivation to work within a team environment
- Ability to manage time and competing priorities within fast paced environments
- Driven approach towards safety
- Strong attention to detail
- Availability to work Monday to Saturday
- Flexibility to travel to sites located across Perth
