About the role
The Head of Product Growth at Canva is a global leadership role, leading our 185+ Canvanauts in the Product Growth Supergroup.
You'll be an instrumental contributor to Canva's foundational mission, and helping Canva to become the default visual communication suite used by businesses and individuals around the globe.
You will do this through owning two primary objectives:
- Organisationally lead & nurture Canva’s Product Growth Supergroup - Lead and partner with an exceptional leadership team to build a highly impactful organization that can deliver across Teams, Revenue & MAU Growth.
- Strategically owning & driving our product-driven Teams Growth & Revenue success - As part of our Revenue Leadership Group, you will orchestrate the cross-cutting Canva for Teams growth strategy and roadmap, to bring Canva into every business in the world.
Background on our structure
With over 80+ teams across Canva, many of which are globally distributed teams in Sydney, Manila, Beijing and the USA, we’ve organized our Teams and Groups of teams into what Canva terms "Supergroups" to help us achieve our goals. Each Supergroup across Canva effectively operates as a highly-enabled, self-contained startup that owns parts of our overall strategy, which ultimately map back to our foundational mission pillars. While nimble and empowered, these groups plug into the broader Canva organization through close collaboration with other supergroups to supercharge every detail of our customer experience.
About the Supergroup you'll lead
The extraordinary growth Canva has experienced to date has been primarily bottom-up and led from within our product, and the Product Growth ‘supergroup’ is Canva’s center of excellence for product-led growth.
On a mission to Empower the world to enjoy the full value of Canva, this cross-functional, global org of 185+ passionate people, is made up of four groups: User Growth; Teams Growth, Subscriptions Growth, and Revenue Platform.
The work Product Growth does spans from building exciting new growth-focused products & experiences, developing unique and creative growth loops and GTM tactics, launching 100s of experiments each quarter, through to building the global payments & subscriptions infrastructure that allows our 85M+ monthly users worldwide to access our premium products.
The goals that this organization owns play a central role in our overall company mission and business success. This Supergroup is responsible for a number of critical company metrics, which include signup, onboarding, activation, engagement, frequency of use, retention, collaboration, and monetization - right across our Free and Pro subscription products, globally.
