The role
Reporting to the Manager – Geraldton Terminal, this role is responsible for maintaining grain quality within the terminal and support the execution, organisation and administration of the CBH Quality Systems.
This position will be based out of the Geraldton Terminal and may be required to travel on occasion.
The key deliverables for the role are

Oversee continued certification of the ISO9001/ HACCP systems within their terminal, through control and application of the system administrative and operational requirements.

Responsible for the coordination and delivery of sampler, weighbridge, port, and outturn sampling training within the terminal including managing the authorised officers programme in conjunction with Terminal Manager and Terminal Supervisor.

Continually review and develop current practices and processes for grain management including quality assessment, storage and handling to ensure that all processes and systems are capable of delivering grain quality in line with customer expectations

Ensure all grain receival and quality standards are understood and adhered to consistently across the Terminal.

Supporting the terminal manager to maintain integrity with all CBH logistic practises

Assisting in the execution, administration and continuous improvement of CBH quality systems
The successful candidate will have
-
Previous experience in grain sampling combined with the ability to successfully complete the CBH Grain Sampling certificate

Proven ability to plan and communicate effectively and manage competing priorities

Competent in the operation of Microsoft Office suite of products
-
Demonstrated experience working in a team orientated, operational environment
-
Ability to work at heights, bend, stretch, lift, climb and be deemed physically fit in accordance with the CBH operational worker pre-employment medical
