We are seeking motivated and safety conscious individuals to join our team as Receival Point Operators (RPO) on a permanent full-time basis following this year’s harvest period. This frontline role plays a major part in our supply chain working with growers, contractors and team members to sustainably create and return value to growers.
About the role:
An RPO is responsible for the efficient and safe handling of bulk grain by way of receiving, sampling, storing and out loading of grain at various receival sites located throughout the CBH network. Please note that our positions for this year’s harvest period have been filled. We are therefore seeking individuals interested in an on-going, year around position at our receival sites. This will allow you to be part of a regional community and enjoy all that relaxed country living has to offer.
RPO Grade 3.3 pays a base hourly rate of $29.08383 (40hr week $60,494.36 per annum).
Responsibilities include:

Operate plant and equipment to move, store and stack bulk grain

Safely receive, store, and out-load grain
-
Sampling and assessing the grain including identifying contaminated grain

Maintaining the condition of grain within the storage system through hygiene activities

Operate the weighbridge as required and data entry
-
Operating and maintaining equipment in a safe and hygienic manner.
Location – Receival sites throughout the CBH Zones
We have post- harvest opportunities across our 100+ receival sites throughout the CBH Zones which include:

Esperance Zone
-
Albany Zone
-
Kwinana North Zone
-
Kwinana South Zone (excludes Kwinana Grain Terminal and Metro Grain Centre)

Geraldton zone
You may be required to work at any one of the sites in your preferred CBH zone.
About You:
-
Have proven experience working a CBH harvest season; Or a harvest season in the Agricultural sector; Or AQF Certificate II or III; or a minimum of 1 years’ experience working in a similar role in a transport, logistics or production environment

Hold an unrestricted and C class valid driver’s licence

Exhibit a strong dedication to working safely

Be deemed physically fit in accordance with the CBH operational worker pre-employment medical

Be able to work at heights, in confined spaces and in areas with high grain dust concentrations

Possess basic computer skills

Be able to read and understand English texts
-
Be able to work in a team environment and communicate well with peers

Have a good level of communications skills
